Black Boots is a feature film that is going to tell the story of the first African American Marines. The Black Boots movie will be a historically honest fictional retelling of the legacy of the first African-American Marines, inspired by true recollections from the Original Montford Pointers and their families.

Montford Point was a segregated training facility established in 1942 to train the first African-American Marines. During World War II, the first African-American recruits began training at an all-black recruit training facility, Camp Montford Point in Jacksonville, North Carolina, under the instruction of white Drill Instructors.
